Holyoke Parks and Recreation seeks to develop and promote a wide variety of recreation opportunities and to encourage and inspire all Holyoke residents to come out and play in Holyoke. A listing of City parks, recreation facilities, sport organizations and sport venues are listed in the for residents section under Parks and Recreation, located on the left side of this page.

Community Field Winter Hours & Admission Costs
Here is an update on the regular times (after Sunday's, 1/6/13, opening) and prices for the ice skating path:
Fridays, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturdays, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Sundays 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
Ice skating admission is $3/person. There are a limited amount of skate rentals available on a first come/first served basis for $2/person. These sessions are staffed with a Parks & Recreation employee, the ice is resurfaced, the restrooms and warming house with lockers are also open. These sessions are weather dependent. Please check the Community Field Facebook page for updates and special events.
The ice skating path is open Monday - Thursday until 6:00 pm at no charge, unless there is a private rental. There are no skate rentals, not are there staff on duty and the warming house is not open Monday - Thursday.
Community Field is located off Cherry Street at 1 Community Field Road. This event is weather dependent. For more information, please call (413) 322-5620.
SPRING SOCCER SIGN UPS
Tuesday, December 11th from 5-7 pm at the Holyoke High School Cafeteria
Monday, January 14th from 5-7 pm at the Holyoke High School Cafeteria.
Open to Boys and Girls ages 7-13.
New players are always welcome.

Open gyms & programs
Lynch gym, located at 1575 Northampton Street, joins our growing number of flagship sport facilities. Holyoke Parks & Recreation is proud to offer our first facility that allows us to host activities throughout the year. In particular, during the winter months when gym time is hard to find.
What is unique about Lynch Gym is not only do we offer quality sport specific programs, and coaches education, we also are able to offer FREE programming such as open gyms, batting practices and teen nights to our community. Lynch is also available for team practice rentals. Please call, (413) 322-5620, for more information.
Open Gyms: Monday - Friday 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM. Free. Must have school ID (or ID on file from previous visit) for entry. Starts November 13, 2012.
Teen Nights: Saturdays 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Free. Activities include: floor hockey, dodgeball, wiffle ball, ping pong, basketball and just fun!
Men's Basketball League: Sunday nights from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Please call for information.
